Qridi Sport version updates

Approximately four new version updates of Qridi Sport are released each year. In this section, we provide a concise summary of the latest version’s contents.

April 11th, 2025

Below is a list of the most important changes and improvements in the new version. Please remember to update both the coach and athlete applications to ensure the proper functionality of the new features.

  • Sending notifications to the app for club-level announcements.
  • Ability to create federation-level announcements.
  • Option to create a coaches’ communication group within the app.
  • Updates to the event card in the app, particularly improving the coach’s view. For example, the number of participants is now displayed more clearly. 
  • Improved overall view of independent training exercises in the coach’s app – now possible to review exercises for the entire team or individual athletes.
  • Fixed synchronization of measurement data between two organizations. For instance, when a player belongs to both a club and a national team, monitoring workload is now clearer.
  • Support for larger files in app communications.
  • Various bug fixes, including the correct display of one-time evaluations for both players and coaches.


    December 19th, 2024

Below is a list of the most important updates and improvements in the new version. Please remember to update both the coach and athlete apps to ensure all new features work smoothly.

- Event sign-up for coaches is now available on both the app and the desktop platform.
- Club-level communication: 1. Communication between coaches at the club level, including the ability to create multiple groups. Communication is available on both the app and the desktop platform. 2. Sending club-level announcements to different groups (coaches, athletes, and parents). Read more here.
- Athlete profile update: The athlete profile view in the coach interface has been completely redesigned. A new feature has been added, allowing coaches to write free-form notes visible only to themselves.
- Event reporting view: Improvements have been made to usability and functionality.
- A new role has been added: The role of Head Coach can be assigned to selected individuals in the club. They can view all teams directly without needing to be granted separate access to individual teams.
- Visual updates to views: The ability to add cover images to various features, such as individual training templates, journals, and assessments. Cover images are also visible to athletes. Additionally, app views have been slightly updated.
- Video sharing fixes: Videos can now be shared with players without requiring the entire video to be shared.
- Italian language added. 
- Other improvements: Numerous small fixes, visual updates, and performance optimizations. 


23rd of April 2024

Team-level reporting:

- Data export (e.g., to Excel) added for evaluations and events. Previously, it was added for tests. Additionally, in evaluations, one can select an individual evaluation, and a date range selection has been added.


- Coaches' app now allows the addition and supplementation of coaches' notes (visible to coaches) during an event, similar to the capability on a computer.



Interface clarification: 
- Adding drills/exercises to an event or collection, made the plus button slightly larger.
- Calendar settings button made more prominently visible.

Bug fixes:
- File saving for training periods.
- Naming video clips and shortcut keys.
- After watching a clip, the video always starts from the beginning when pressing play.

- The event reporting feature now includes the option to select one's own timeframe and event type (e.g., practice, match, etc.), see the image below.
- Templates for independent training have been added to the library and other contents have been edited to be more functional (see image below).

- Several usability improvements have been made to the drawing tool (training bank), and new icons and field backgrounds have been added to soccer.
- Error corrections have been made to playlist sharing for athletes.
- Accelerations have been made to video loading in the video tool.
- The filtering function of training bank tags has been expanded.

- Playlist function, which allows you to create playlists for players or as a public link from clips of different match videos. Instructions for this can also be found under the video tool in this guide.
- Minor improvements to the drawing tool.
- Bug fixes, including attaching images to exercise sessions, video tool functionality, and shortcut key operations.

Improvements to the Video Tool:
- Enhanced the smoothness of video clip sharing. Additionally, fixed the display of drawings at the right moment for athletes.
- Added a "freehand pen" drawing element.
- Display of a preview image for YouTube videos.
- Total time added for visibility. See image below.


Training bank
- adding multiple videos or files to the exercise enabled
- added showing a preview image if there is a video in the exercise

Reports
- The possibility to import the data of all tests into, for example, Excel. See image below.


Sharing independent exercises
- Added the visibility of attachments and the ability to open links in the coach's mobile application.

Drawing Tool for Creating Exercises
- Added a "freehand pen" drawing element.
- Streamlined the drawing of elements, especially arrows, and enabled stretching.
- Improved the functionality of text fields (typing possible immediately after adding).

Journal
- Enabled adding individual exercises.
