Communication Overview

Qridi Sport enables communication at both the club and team levels.

At the club level, you can create discussion groups for coaches as needed, making internal communication more efficient. Additionally, club-level announcements can be sent to specific target groups or all parties, including coaches, parents, and athletes.

At the team level, communication facilitates smooth interaction between coaches and athletes, or between coaches and parents, supporting effective information sharing and collaboration in the daily operations of the team.

Club-Level Communication – Discussion Groups for Coaches

Club-level communication options can be accessed from the menu on the left-hand side (see image below).

To create a new discussion group for coaches:

1. Click the plus button.

2. Select the coaches you want to include in the group.

This feature makes it easy to set up focused discussions among coaching staff!

You can edit the group name or add new coaches later by clicking the pencil icon next to the group name (see image below).

If you wish, you can mark specific groups as favorites and adjust your notification settings (see image below).

Remember, you can also use the mobile app for communication. Announcements will be visible there as well.

Club-Level Communication – Announcements for Different Parties

Announcements offer a visually appealing and effective way to share important information with the club members. Recipients can also read the announcements directly from their own apps, ensuring the information reaches everyone easily.

Where to find announcements?

The announcements feature is located in the left-hand menu.
 

How to create a new announcement:

1. Select “Publish New Announcement”.

2. Fill in the required details, such as the title and content. You can also add a cover image from the ready image library, where you can search for images by keyword (see images below).

3. Choose the recipient group and publish.

Announcements are an excellent way to keep the members informed!

Team-Level Communication – Overview

Messaging enables an easy way to communicate with athletes (and parents). The coach can use a computer and phone application for messaging. Athletes and coaches receive a notification of new messages. In addition to text, you can send a message with images, videos, sound or other files. You can send a message to a team, groups or an individual athlete. The team’s coaching staff can view the messages sent by the athletes.

Bonus tips: 

• Coach can send messages to parents if parents have also been given the right to the parents' Qridi Sport application. 
• Through the coach's computer interface, you can also send performance badges to the athletes, and in this way, good performances and successes, as well as activities in accordance with the team's values, are displayed. You can choose whether to send these to an individual athlete, a group or the whole team. You can build the badges you want yourself. These are visible to the athlete through communication. In addition, they can be found compiled for each athlete in the athlete's portfolio, which can be seen by the coach and the athlete. This way you can track the badges during and over the seasons. "What is kept on display becomes abundant in everyday life."

• You can freeze the messaging if, for example, you want to limit the conversation during the holidays, and then athletes cannot send messages. You can do this by clicking on the info button next to the conversation thread and selecting "Freeze this discussion."

• Use the notice board. You can pin messages directly from the top of the message. These messages are then also visible on the team's notice board and no need to scroll the messages to find something important for the team.
